Where do I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets online at txstatepresents.com or you can arrive to the box office an hour prior to the show to buy tickets at the door or join the standby list if the event is sold out.

Where is the theatre located?.

TXST Theatre has three performance venues located on Moon Street in San Marcos, Texas. The Theatre Center (the round, red brick building) houses the Mainstage theatre and the Patti Strickel Harrison (PSH) Foundation Studio theatre. Across the street in the Performing Arts Center is the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre. Please check your tickets to verify which venue the production is taking place.

How many plays and musicals are performed each year?

There are 6 to 8 plays and 2 musicals, plus creative thesis productions by graduate students, graduate-directed scenes, Black and Latino Playwrights Celebration, Directing 2 Festival, New Works Play Festival, Jeremy Torres Lab Theatre Series, and many other opportunities throughout the academic year.
